The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts IBPS PO/MT exam every year to select candidates eligible for the post of Probationary Officer or management trainees in different public sector banks, LIC, NABARD, insurance companies, and others who are members of the IBPS society. It is conducted in online mode and contains three sections – prelims, mains, and interviews. IBPS exam syllabus contains 4 subjects including reasoning and computer aptitude, English language, data analysis & interpretation, the general economy, and banking awareness. While, a descriptive paper is taken in the mains, followed by a face-to-face interview for the final selection. The candidate appearing for this exam should have a graduation degree, computer literacy, and language proficiency of the state/UT where applied.
