What is the Sainik School entrance exam (AISSEE)?
Sainik School admissions across India are through the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE), conducted once a year for entry into Class 6 and Class 9. Elite IIT's Bangalore coaching prepares students for both entry points on the actual exam pattern.
Class 6 Entry
AISSEE — Junior Entry
The most common entry point, for students currently in Class 5. Tests core Maths, Language and reasoning ability alongside General Knowledge.
Class 9 Entry

For students currently in Class 8, filling limited lateral-entry seats. Adds Science and Social Science to the Class 6 subject base, at a higher difficulty level.
