What is the NATA exam?
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is being conducted by the Council of Architecture at national level for admission to 5 year B. Arch Degree Course at all recognized institutions across India. NATA scores are used by admissions authorities of different Government, Govt.
Who is eligible for Nata?
Qualifying Exam: The Candidate must have passed 12th (10+2) with PCM or 10+3 with mathematics from any recognized board. Appearing Candidates: The candidates appearing in the qualifying exams will also be eligible for applying for NATA 2021 entrance test.
Is Nata exam difficult?
Since NATA is considered to be one of the toughest exams one must start preparing it from school days. One of the easiest ways to crack the entrance exam is to focus only on the NATA entrance exam.
Does 12th Percentage matter in Nata?
YES. All Architecture colleges take your 12th marks into consideration but the weightage varies. Some colleges have a 50-50 weightage system whereas all Architecture colleges in Mumbai have a 60-40 ratio system where 60 is your NATA score and 40 is your 12th Board Marks.
Does Nata have negative marking?
There is no negative marking. NATA 2020 is a qualifying aptitude test for admission into the B. Arch degree program, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria prescribed by the Council.
What is good rank in Nata?
Around 120-150 is considered a good in NATA if you wish to get admission in top architecture institutes. Atleast 50% is required to appear for NATA, however for the final merit list only NATA score is considered. The highest NATA score is considered to be more than 155.
Can we do B Arch without Nata?
Arch (Diploma in architecture) can be done. There are no colleges that give admission in B. Arch without considering NATA/JEE Mains score. IITs, NITs, GFTIs consider NATA and JEE Mains (Paper 2) scores only.
