What are the RMS rules — eligibility, age limit and entry points?
RMS CET is the entrance exam for India's 5 Rashtriya Military Schools, including one right here in Bangalore. Class 6 is open to boys and girls; Class 9 lateral entry is currently boys-only. Applications for the 2027–28 session open around September 2026.

RMS CET — Junior Entry · Boys & Girls
The main entry point, for students currently in Class 5. Tests core Maths, English, Intelligence and General Knowledge on an OMR-based objective pattern.
Class 9 Entry
RMS CET — Lateral Entry · Boys Only
